Signs Express (Northampton) have wrapped an Audi R8 – a beautiful car to start with- but made very special with an extraordinary and unique multi-coloured wrap designed by their own in-house designer and wrapper, Dan Smith. Dan came up with the concept, designed it and then fitted the wrap, demonstrating his elite vehicle wrapping skills. The 3M Tour has been everywhere from the Bruntingthorpe Test Track – a favourite Top Gear location - to the Baltic Art Gallery in Gateshead. This weekend, the show moves on to the Santa Pod Raceway in Bedfordshire before the Audi R8 is exhibited for one last time at the Trax Modified Car Show at the home of British Motorsport, Silverstone. Signs Express (Northampton) Centre Owner Mark Meadowcroft commented “Our core business will always be commercial fleet wraps and graphics, but we do personal wraps more and more – they’re great fun and we get to show off what we can do. It’s the same skills and 3M materials that we use on a fleet of lorry cabs or Ford Transits, and while we value that business hugely and are totally committed to quality, it’s difficult to argue that this isn’t more fun.” Watch our video to see how it looks on the move here
