Signs Express has been watching this season with huge excitement as their friends and commercial partners Northampton Town Football Club have soared to the top of the Sky Bet League Two.
The Cobblers have only lost once in the league in six months – in spite of almost going out of business in November with the club bleeding money because of half-completed stand development that was costing money but providing no income, police raids on the club offices, players and backroom staff being unpaid for a month and the former owner of the club being arrested. Under new ownership and now financially stable, the Cobblers are 14 points clear at the top of the table with six games to play; and while they will probably be mathematically promoted against Bristol Rovers in Saturday, if it doesn't happen then, it will very soon. The League title will also almost certainly be confirmed very soon. Building work on the new East Stand is back underway, some seats have been installed so fans can use it and the club can earn money and Signs Express (Northampton) has installed a large 115 metre long banner running the length of the pitch to separate the useable and unfinished sections of the stand Signs Express (Northampton) are proud match ball sponsors for the Bristol Rovers game and have created a special advert for the match programme celebrating the team's success and reflecting that the Signs Express branding on the roof of the North Stand at Sixfields has overseen a season of stunning success and rich entertainment. Signs Express (Northampton) owner, Mark Meadowcroft explains, 'We've been involved with the club for seven seasons now, and the first six were good commercially but often tough to watch on a Saturday afternoon. I particularly remember watching the Cobblers winning one match 3-nil at half time but losing 4-3 at full time. This season has been unforgettable for the right reasons.' Northampton Town Chief Executive James Whiting says: 'We'd like to thank Signs Express for supporting us through the bad times and it makes celebrating the good times with them even better. The branding on the East Stand was executed professionally, cheerfully and to a tight deadline – which is exactly what we have come to expect from them.' The market leading sign makers offer a one-stop-shop for all forms of signs and graphics and have provided Northampton Town with a comprehensive range of signage solutions at the ground including pitch side sponsors boards, branding across the site and graphics for the large memorial wall outside the stadium.
