When Cummins Generator Technologies moved from their Barnack Road, Stamford site to facilitate their global head office in Lynch Wood, Peterborough, they called on the services of Signs Express (Peterborough) to complete a vast range of signage for their new location.
Cummins Generator Technologies is a global company specialising in AC Generators. Established in 1919, they offer a comprehensive line of products that can be found in recreational vehicles, marine, commercial mobile, residential standby and portable applications. Signs Express (Peterborough) was contacted by Cummins Generator Technologies with less than 2 weeks to go before staff were due to move in to the premises. The quick turn around and professional service that the team offered led Justin McKay, Global Facilities Leader for the client to comment: 'I have been very impressed with the quality of work and speed of service from Signs Express.' The experienced sign makers provided a range of signage including over 300 metres of two colour frosting in the shape of engine cogs, internal wall signage, outdoor and parking signage. Wall art, bar coding, and stainless steel letters have also been supplied and fitted. The Peterborough team were delighted to help and provided a first class service, ensuring the high quality fittings were in place and ready for Cummins Generator Technologies to occupy the offices within the timescale given. The Peterborough team worked alongside interior designers James Cubitt & Partners Architects. The company has been established since 1947 and like Cummins Generator Technologies, have offices across the globe. Throughout the project, the interior designers worked very closely with Signs Express (Peterborough) and have commented: 'Signs Express were a pleasure to deal with. I found that they worked quickly and professionally. They knew exactly what was required and worked with the designers to resolve any design issues. I would definitely recommend Signs Express, and work with them again in the future.' The project was an exciting opportunity for the Peterborough sign makers who enjoyed working alongside the two global brands. There are likely to be upcoming projects with Cummins Generator Technologies which the team hope to be involved in. Signs Express (Peterborough) has been established for over 10 years and has recently invested in machinery to be able to offer engraving as well as braille and tactile. The centre are dealers of the Modulex Optima range and are able to supply and install Pacifc, Ocean, Messenger Infinity and Macer products.
