Signs Express Peterborough invest in youth training and development
We are proud to announce the recruitment of Kai Chilvers, 17, who becomes our new Signage Technician Apprentice.
Kai, who lives in Hampton Hargate, has recently started his 2-year apprenticeship with us, which is supported by Walsall College of Birmingham.
We are delighted to have Kai join us. We really believe it’s time for companies to step up and start investing in the proper training of young people, not only for their benefit but for the benefit of our industry too."
Michael Tame, Owner of Signs Express (Peterborough)The apprenticeship will see Kai be one of only a limited number of people gain the Level 3 Sign Technician qualification. There are few official qualifications within the signage industry, meaning that any support provided by companies is essential.
