Signs Express Glasgow collaboration with the BBC
River City - BBC One
Signs Express Glasgow were contacted by the BBC to create a set of letters to feature as a staple on the new River City film set. The letters are to feature on the show from November the 13th 2023.
River City is a Scottish TV soap opera that was first broadcast on BBC One. River City follows the lives of people who live and work in the fictional district of Shieldinch.
Client Brief
The client had a vision of some large red-letter exterior signs to go on the roof of some outhouses. With a tight budget, the production was a challenge for the Signs Express team however, they managed to create and install 19mm thick rigid PVC letters, which were paint finished in Pantone 185C Red. These were mounted to the roofline in galvanised steel brackets.
