Signs Express Twickenham were commissioned by Walkers (NI) to provide striking graphics for an escalator at Fulham Broadway Shopping Centre.
No architect's measurements were available, so the Twickenham team took to the escalator and made sure every inch was accurately measured ready for production of the graphics. This timely process was essential in ensuring a precise and attractive result. With such a public place, an experienced sign making team was vital in ensuring that not only was the work undertaken efficiently but also accurately using the best possible materials. The expert sign makers stripped all the old graphics and thoroughly cleaned the surfaces, before installing the new graphics. Work was carried out during the night to avoid unnecessary disruption to people using the tube station and shopping centre. The graphics were completed within 2 nights and promote both the Vue Cinema and also the David Lloyds gym. They also highlight the various eateries in the centre. As part of the project, Signs Express Twickenham also supplied and installed complimenting frosted window prints to cover the glazed panels overlooking the railway lines. With the graphics being fitted in a public space, Health and Safety issues were paramount and the expert sign makers ensured the work areas were correctly cordoned off during the installation. Water was used to aid installation and precautions were taken to ensure that there were no accidents. Fulham Broadway Shopping Centre is located at the heart of Fulham and also incorporates an underground station on the District Line.
