The team at Signs Express (Peterborough) was contracted to remake and refit three large exterior signs, each 8 metres in length. The crew were given a very tight deadline, with just 10 days for artwork sign off, tray manufacture and installation. Overall, the project took just 10 days and was a great feat of organisation as the team had to co-operate with three different companies for various elements of the project. Ashby Trade Signs manufactured a total of nine trays that formed the structure of the signs and ATP Access Hire, a Peterborough-based company, supplied the access equipment for the Signs Express team to use in order to install the signage at a height of over 15 metres. Michael Tame, owner of Signs Express (Peterborough), outlined the import of the project: 'The brief dictated that the project had to be completed by November 3rd, so the company's CEO could unveil the signs right after the buyout was completed, which was a very tight deadline. It was a bit daunting at times, but we met the brief and the unveiling was aired on the BBC regional news that night!' The large site that the company owns is now being completely rebranded and has earmarked the Peterborough centre as their trusted signage provider, so Michael and his team are looking forward to strengthening their relationship with the group over the next few months.
