The finalist recognition was awarded to the expert sign makers for their in-house designed and expert application of a vehicle wrap on behalf of Excel Trailers Ltd, who supply and convert catering trailers such as the one provided for Tata’s Taco Truck. The bright and engaging graphics were a perfect way for the Mexican inspired cuisine business to advertise their food offering. The bold use of colour and engaging fonts, along with a cartoon style character, ensured the graphics hit the mark.” The experienced sign making team printed the graphics in-house on their large format Mimaki JV33 digital printer and applied the graphics across the whole of the vehicle for a seamless finish within a three-day turnaround so that the truck was off the road for as little time as necessary. The award win follows similar recognition in both 2016 and 2015 and the sign centre is well-known for its high profile and renowned work.
