Following four years of fundraising, Southampton General Hospital was delighted to open their dedicated day care unit for haematology patients, and who better to install their 'wall of thanks' than Signs Express Southampton.
The hospital began a campaign in 2009 as they very much needed a new unit where blood cancer patients could be treated in comfort and without fear of infection. Numerous cake sales, daring parachute jumps and gruelling cycle challenges later, the doors have been opened to the new state of the art facility. To pay tribute to everyone who had supported the hospital along the way, a 'wall of thanks' was decided upon, ensuring nobody's support would be forgotten. Signs Express Southampton were happy to complete the job and installed a 10mm thick acrylic sign measuring 1000 x 750mm, listing all those who supported and donated to Southampton Hospital Charity's Red & White Appeal. Signs Express Southampton has been operating for over 10 years and provide a comprehensive range of services along with a team of highly qualified staff. The centre has invested in a wide range of equipment, including an in-house wide format digital printer - the Mimaki JV33, printing excellent quality graphics to enhance their customers' visual communication.
