Our Work
Interserve Construction - Holt Park Active
When Interserve Construction were tendering their signage contract for a new leisure centre, the knowledge and experience of Signs Express (Leeds) won them the project.
The Leeds sign makers were called in to supply and fit a range of signage and graphics for a new leisure centre that was being built for Leeds City Council. Although the centre had previously worked directly for the council, Interserve Construction was a new client. Following initial meeting to discuss the requirement, where Signs Express (Leeds) suggested some alternative solutions which would better suit the leisure centre, designs were put in place. This was quite a challenge for the team, as the building was not completed and so their experience and expertise was vital when it came to advising on appropriate signage. Working together with Interserve Construction throughout the on-going project, the interior and exterior signage was installed. This posed a logistical challenge for the Leeds sign makers as timescales were tight due to the need to work around plasterers, electricians, joiners and other tradespeople. The range of signage and graphics included a large triangular totem, suspended, parking and wall mounted signs, and tactile signs which were manufactured with help of Signs Express (Central Lancashire). The project was completed on schedule and the client was extremely pleased with the result. Dave Nurse opened the doors of the Leeds centre in December 2003. The team work with a variety of customers, covering areas in and around Leeds such as Garforth, Rothwell, Morley, Horsforth, Otley and Tadcaster.
