When Gem Logistics - a major player in the order fulfilment processes of several household name internet retailers - took advantage of excellent transport links both from the key port of Felixstowe and onwards throughout the UK by opening a large, purpose-built unit on the A45 at Raunds, they naturally turned to Signs Express. After several meetings, two very large flexface banners were commissioned, manufactured and fitted. Working at height with difficult access, an electrical connection and just before Christmas -the busiest time of the year for the client - Health and Safety was a particular challenge on this job. Therefore, Signs Express (Northampton) worked closely with the client to produce a thorough risk assessment and method statement. The client was also reassured by experienced, uniformed staff who understood the importance of the correct PPE and the safety briefing. There were then some finishing touches - other directional signage all over this large prestige facility.
