Brittany Ferries Booths Wrapped Up

Being such a large and complex job, we spent time undertaking several site surveys and visiting the key managers to ensure we had the correct details. We needed to make sure the project ran as smoothly as possible so this in-depth approach was essential before we started the production and installation process. We had to firstly remove all of the existing vinyl and ensure the booths were clean and ready for application. For this job we used a special type of vinyl called Cast Vinyl as it easily wraps into the recesses and curves on the booths, this along with using heat guns ensured the bond was perfect. Each booth took around one day to complete using a team of three installers. As a result of our new relationship we have also supplied further signage solutions including wayfinding and directional signage, health and safety signs and custom window graphics. Every project is completed to an extremely high-standard and our team worked incredibly hard to finish this project within the required time frame. There were some challenges we had to overcome during this project including reducing the disruption to the toll booth area to avoid congestion. August was also a very busy period for Brittany Ferries as we undertook the project during the school summer holidays. We also had to consider the weather as it was very unpredictable with high wind and rain. These challenges were easy to overcome, and this relied on the team being flexible and adapting to the conditions. We worked efficiently with very high attention to detail in order to complete this project on time and to the best standard. The benefit of working with Signs Express (Portsmouth) is that Brittany Ferries usual supplier is international, as we are a local Portsmouth based company, this helped us to be able to provide an efficient service as we’re located only five miles away from the port.
