Signs Express (Leeds) were thrilled to be Highly Commended in the Innovation Award category at the British Sign Awards this month for their White Rose of Yorkshire project.
The sign, over three-metres-tall, was constructed from built up brushed stainless steel petals with white painted faces, whilst the stem and leaves were copper with a Verdigris finish which will naturally change and ‘oxidise’ over time. Kim Nurse, Owner of Signs Express (Leeds), commented,
The British Sign Awards are held annually by the BSGA, this year at the Athena Centre in Leicester where a total of 16 awards were presented. Signs Express (Warrington) and Signs Express (Central Lancashire) were also finalists at the awards, with the Central Lancashire branch taking home the win in the Innovation category.
