Signs Express Ipswich pleased to support HP Planet Partners scheme

Signs Express (Ipswich) are always looking for new initiatives and ways to make our business more eco-friendly. Operating a sustainable operation is extremely important, protecting our planet and finding ways to be more efficient.

For a while now we have been taking part in HP’s Planet Partners scheme which encourages their customers to return used ink cartridges to be recycled into new ones. As printing is at the core of our business by taking part in this initiative we are reducing waste going to landfills or into the ocean. HP Planet Partners also use other plastic waste (including plastic bottles and coat hangers) to create new ink cartridges. More than 4.7 billion bottles and 114 million hangers have been recycled to manufacture new Original HP Ink Cartridges*.

We know that anything we can do to be more eco-friendly is so important and the Planet Partners scheme is a great initiative to take part in. The impact of just recycling our cartridges as a single business may be small but when you look at it on a large scale it is a great example of what can be achieved to help our planet.
