The Chamber moved premises to modern offices on February 27th, having originally been based on Canal Wharf, Chesterfield. Winning the tender process amidst competition from ten other local sign companies, Signs Express (Derby) were contracted to supply and fit all the external and internal signs for the new Chamber offices, based on Millennium Way, off Dunston Road, Chesterfield. Steve Jarvis, Director of Signs Express (Derby), was very proud to help his local Chamber to rebrand their new premises. He said: “It was a great honour to assist with this project. We have a long history with the Chamber and are strong supporters of what they do in the region, so to be awarded this tender against such strong competition was high praise. The finish my team have achieved has been phenomenal and the entire project was delivered on time, which is always our aim.” With the tender open to suggestions on design, the team at Signs Express (Derby) decided to run with a stylish clear acrylic theme throughout the building, with the exception of the main sign at the top of the building, which is a fabricated aluminium tray with acrylic detail bonded to the face. Overall, the team supplied everything from external wayfinding and car park signs to main entrance signage, internal wayfinding and reception signs. The combined appearance of the signage adds a trendy, modern feel to the Chamber’s smart new premises. Alison Gray, Corporate Marketing Manager at East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire), co-ordinated the move and the successful installation of signage.
