Leading signs and graphics manufacturer Signs Express (Chester) has been walking on the wild side after being commissioned by Chester Zoo to provide signage for their Bembe restaurant, coffee shop and BBQ.
Chester Zoo approached Signs Express (Chester) to design and install new environmentally friendly signage at the redeveloped catering venues. The new signage has kept the values of the conservation by using sustainable and fair trade products. The zoo relies on generous donations and sponsorship to ensure that the zoo and all of their animals are maintained to the highest possible standards. By giving these areas a new, dynamic look and feel, it is hoped to attract extra visitors who stay on at the zoo for longer to try out the catering services. The restaurant areas will also offer a unique high quality venue for events. The graphics have been designed to engage with visitors helping the zoo to continue its fantastic conservation work. Signs Express (Chester), owned by Stephen Lloyd commented; 'This is just a number of projects we have been delighted to work on with Chester Zoo. We made sure that we used environmentally friendly printing materials such as energy efficient printers using non-solvent based inks to keep with the Zoo's conservation values.' The signage made for Chester Zoo comprised of new wall signage and banners printed on hessian with natural wood surround/frame. New exterior banners around the terrace and external seating area were also installed. Located at Unit 2 Interlinq Park, Queensferry in Chester, Signs Express (Chester) provides a complete design, manufacture and installation service for all forms of signage, from interior and exterior signs to window graphics, vehicle wraps and health & safety signs.
