Signs Express Bristol kindly donated a window display to House of Fraser to help raise awareness of the Gromits Unleashed Trail for The Grand Appeal charity.
The Grand Appeal charity was established in 1995 and has raised £50 million since its inception supporting sick children and their families in Bristol’s Children’s Hospital. Throughout the Summer of 2018, the charity is running a Wallace and Gromit themed trail with 67 sculptures spread across the city of Bristol for fans to enjoy. The giant sculptures have been designed by a variety of high-profile artists and are positioned in iconic locations throughout the city. Ben Walker of Signs Express Bristol contacted the charity to find out how Signs Express can take part in the exciting project and was swiftly introduced to Chris Jago, the visual merchandiser for House of Fraser in Bristol. Together, they both created a massive, eye-catching window display, with Signs Express using digitally printed vinyl on Foamex panels to create the masterpiece. The dedicated in-house team manufactured the work completely free of charge to help support the charity, giving back to the community Ben, a Bristol local loves. Chris has this to say: “Thank you very much to Ben and his team at Signs Express Bristol who kindly offered their time and donation of providing us with a window display – they were very professional, and nothing was too much trouble”.
