Herts Mechanical Handling Services (HMHS) is a trusted leader in the installation and maintenance of integrated material handling systems, with over 30 years of expertise. Serving an extensive international client base across the UK, Europe, North America, Africa, Asia, Russia, and the Middle East, HMHS has built a strong reputation for excellence. Their portfolio includes partnerships with globally recognised brands such as Royal Mail, Levi's, Ocado, Unilever, AstraZeneca, and Robert Bosch, showcasing their ability to deliver tailored solutions for diverse industries. Recently, HMHS partnered with an external creative agency, Definition Consulting, to refresh their branding. The project included a complete redesign of their vehicle fleet and the application of their new branding across various assets.

Objectives
The key objectives of the project were to:
1. Wrap three new transporter vans with their refreshed branding.
2. Rebrand 12 existing vehicles, including Citroën Berlingo vans, a Ford Connect, and a Peugeot Expert panel van.
3. Extend the branding to additional vehicles added to their fleet after the initial phase.
4. Apply high-quality branding to internal lockers to ensure durability and maintain a professional appearance over time.
Challenges
Brand Consistency: Ensuring uniform branding across a mixed fleet of new and older vehicles required careful planning and execution.
Durability: Locker branding needed to withstand heavy use while maintaining a pristine appearance.
Coordination: Balancing the input and approval of HMHS, Definition Consulting, and Signs Express required a collaborative and efficient approach.
The Finished Product
The project was carried out in multiple stages:
1. Initial Phase: Signs Express used vectored artwork to complete the wrapping of three transporter vans and light rebranding on the older vehicles.
2. Additional Fleet Work: Following the initial success, further rebranding was completed for four Ford Connects and two Ford Customs, demonstrating HMHS's confidence in Signs Express.
3. Locker Wrapping: Full branding was applied to the internal lockers, maintaining the consistency of HMHS’s refreshed identity across their operations.
