Exterior Rebranding for Electrical Waste Recycling Group
BACKGROUND
Waste electrical and electronic equipment, or WEEE, is one of the world’s fastest growing waste streams and the UK is one of its biggest producers. To tackle the problem head-on, Electrical Waste Recycling Group (EWRG) - a subsidiary of Huddersfield-based Waste Experts - specialise in providing bespoke corporate WEEE recycling schemes, ranging from on-site storage solutions for waste electronic goods to recycling them at their facility – the only one in the UK capable of recycling all 14 types of WEEE in one place.
Having worked with Signs Express Huddersfield since 2018, EWRG approached us again to complete a comprehensive exterior rebranding project for their facility. The goal was to overhaul the site’s signage, giving it a fresh and modern look that would reflect EWRG’s visual identity and their commitment to environmental responsibility.
Consultation and Advice Service
The first step of our solution was to take artwork provided by EWRG and advise on signage systems that would achieve their desired outcomes across different areas of their site. Using their chosen branding elements and design specifications for the proposal, our recommendations included a mix of aluminium composite rigid flat signs, post and panel signs, and an exterior wall-mounted folded tray sign.
Sign-off and Production
Once all signage systems were agreed upon, it was time for the signs to be manufactured in house at Signs Express Huddersfield. The expertise of our team meant that we were able to produce all signage within the business and didn’t need to outsource any of the production, ensuring a consistent high-quality finish across all signage while keeping the cost down for our customer. The priority as ever was to provide an efficient production service using materials chosen for their high quality and durability in all outdoor weather conditions.
Installation
The final stage of the project, the installation was completed by Signs Express Huddersfield in just one day. Project management was key at this stage, ensuring all the signage and necessary signs and fixings were present on the day so the install could be carried out in the allotted time and reduce any disruption for the business and its operations.
