d’Overbroeck’s Oxford is an independent day and boarding school based in Oxford. We have worked with the school on a number of projects in recent years and were delighted when they got in touch to ask for our help with signage for their large rebranding project.
We undertook a site visit to determine what signage was required, where they needed new signage and where they could make use of existing sign systems with updated branding.
d’Overbroeck’s Oxford already had the branding designed, so we were able to study these designs and envisage how the designs would work with the requirements.
Requirements included:
- New vehicle graphics for the school fleet.
- Exterior signs including new entrance signage, building and directional signage.
- Interior signage including reception signage, wall graphics and door signs.
- Branded Café Barriers.
- Weatherproof banners to promote their upcoming open day.
All signage needed to be fitted without impacting on the day to day running of the school.
To support the customer and keep costs to a minimum, we used existing post & panel sign systems and replaced ACM panels with new digitally printed ACM panels.
We recommended mesh banners attached to the Heris fencing which, are more durable for winter. Smart new acrylic door signs were installed and the exterior building signs were made of wrapped ACM trays which, enhanced the finished of the school branding.
Vehicle graphics were applied on site at the school, while the rest of the signage was fitted during the school holidays to limit disruption to staff and students.
“It’s been a pleasure working with Signs Express Oxford on this large rebrand of our many school sites. Ian managed the project from the initial site survey to installation, working with us to understand our requirements and produce some great solutions that were fitted within our timescales and out of school hours causing minimal disruption.”
