‘Re-brand’ created for Millgrove House
Millgrove House provide office space for many companies and have recently moved to a new site and needed new exterior and interior signage.
The Brief
Matthew from Millgrove House initially contacted Signs Express Cardiff in need of a new exterior sign to replace an old post and panel sign for their industrial unit.
Millgrove House were so impressed with the work Signs Express Cardiff delivered that they requested us back for an additional site survey for their office building in Llanishen, where they needed a variety of interior and exterior signage solutions.
The Process
To start creating the signage, Tomos, our graphic designer, started the consultation and design:
“After attending the site survey, I presented some initial drafts for the car park signs and the raised lettering, which included a variation of font choices for the client to select from. This helped me to establish a starting point for the ultimate artwork version inspired by their existing branding. I also discussed the appropriate material choice for each sign in order to achieve a clean and professional look.”
The Signage Solution
Signs Express Cardiff created a range of interior and exterior signage for Millgrove House. In the car park we fitted signs to indicate visitor and disabled spaces, allowing for clear instruction, as well as fitting CCTV Security signs in the area. Their building now displays their name ‘Millgrove House’ proudly; we designed a raised letter sign which was installed on the face of the building.
Inside Millgrove House, Signs Express have installed new entrance signs, directing visitors clearly, and a reception sign which includes a list of the building’s tenants. These new signage solutions make it easy for anyone to find the business they are visiting. Finally, we installed newly designed wall graphics in the reception area to add a decorative focal point to the main lobby.
It was really interesting working alongside Millgrove House, understanding their needs and working creatively to deliver the best results. We made sure to use a wide variety of materials available to us, including digitally printed graphics, aluminium composite, vinyl, and 5mm Foamex.
The Final Result
We love the raised letter sign with mirrored effect that we created for Millgrove House; it is now an eye-catching feature on the building.
