Junior Sign Maker/Installer - Cardiff

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000

Location: Cardiff

Working Hours: Full-Time

 

Description: This role is for a junior sign maker/installer to work within a busy signage and graphics production department for one of the UKs largest, most successful sign companies. No previous experience is required and training will be provided.

 

Key responsibilities:

• Understanding briefs accurately with a good understanding of different signage and manufacturing techniques
• Producing artwork and visuals to scale
• Printing, cutting and laminating vinyl
• Applying graphics to a variety of substrates, including panels, fascias, windows and vehicles
• Helping with surveys and accurately recording information for design and quoting purposes
• Assisting fascia and post mounted installations using power tools and access equipment

 

Skills (essential):

• Good communicator, both written and verbal
• Process driven with great attention to detail
• Continual Improvement mindset
• Well organised, reliable, resilient and able to work calmly under pressure alone or as part of a team

• Professional, flexible, enthusiastic with a strong work ethic

 

Skills (preferable):

• IPAF/PASMA/CSCS accreditations desirable
• Vehicle wrapping
